Our team was tasked with building a high-performance digital hub for Boba Quest to drive community growth and support their upcoming Kickstarter campaign. The primary focus was creating a seamless transition between the website and the user onboarding experience.
Following the website launch, the client reported a significant improvement in email signup conversion rates and noted that the site was receiving widespread positive attention from the community.
1. Building the Bobaverse Hub
At the core of this project was the creation of a digital home that felt as vibrant as the game itself. We focused on:
- Creative Immersion: Designed the interface so users felt like they were stepping directly into the Bobaverse.
- Conversion-Centric UI: Prioritized button placement and layout to guide users naturally toward the signup process.
- Iterative Prototyping: Explored and refined multiple concepts to find the perfect balance between narrative art and functional web design.

Built the foundational look & feel used in early outreach and investor conversations.This gave the team its first professional brand identity.
2. Lead Nurturing & Automation Flow
To bridge the gap between initial interest and long-term community engagement, we designed a comprehensive post-signup ecosystem. This automated journey was built to educate, excite, and nurture new leads directly after they join the community via the website.
- Automated Onboarding: Developed a multi-stage sequence starting with an immediate welcome email.
- Sequential Storytelling: Integrated timed delays, such as a 3-day wait before delivering "Level One" content and character introductions like "Meet the Boba Buddies".
- Exceptional Engagement: The flow achieved a 53.4% average open rate and a 9.1% click rate, significantly outperforming industry standards.
- Audience Retention: Maintained an incredibly low 0.52% unsubscribe rate, proving the newsletters successfully resonated with the audience.
